Students selected for the 2026 Uncommon Student Award Class are required to attend USA Student Weekend at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum in West Branch, Iowa.

This two-day experience brings together outstanding students from across the state for a meaningful introduction to the life and legacy of Herbert Hoover, the humanitarian and 31st President of the United States, while engaging in programming focused on leadership, service, and civic responsibility.

Attendance is required to receive the Uncommon Student Award.
