Rare & Unusual Member Program: Belgian Flour Sacks from World War I

Members are invited to a special, behind-the-scenes experience at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library & Museum on Tuesday, April 29, 2026.
As part of the Rare & Unusual series, this intimate program offers a rare opportunity to view artifacts from the Hoover collection that are not typically on public display. This session will feature Belgian flour sacks from World War I, powerful symbols of international gratitude and a direct reflection of Herbert Hoover’s leadership in global humanitarian relief efforts.
Through these remarkable objects, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of Hoover’s impact and the global significance of his work.
