Archivist Matt Schaefer talks about Lou Henry Hoover that the 19th Amendment that gave women throughout the country the right to vote. It explores Lou’s views on women’s suffrage and voting. On August 18, 2020, we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the amendment’s ratification.
