1968: A Folsom redemption, opens to the public on Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum – but Foundation members get to see it first! Join us Thursday, Jan. 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hoover Presidential Library and Museum (210 Parkside Dr.) for light appetizers, wine and other goodies! A brief presentation starts at 6 p.m.

Created in 2018 to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of a landmark event, 1968: A Folsom Redemption is a collection of photographs and memories of two journalists lucky enough to be among a handful of witnesses to the historic Johnny Cash concerts at Folsom Prison. This candid and personal exhibition covers a critical juncture in the career of Johnny Cash, one of the twentieth century’s most beloved performers.

This is a free event for Foundation members. Future-member guests may attend for $10 or with a membership gift pass. (Must present pass at check-in).
